CANCELLED – Shoreway Tours: Weekend Edition

Due to increasing concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) and recently issued directives from San Mateo County Health, RethinkWaste has cancelled our Shoreway Tours: Weekend Edition event.
Join us for Shoreway Tours: Weekend Edition.
RethinkWaste will be giving free tours to the public ages 4 and up for this special weekend.
Come see where your recycling, compost, and garbage goes! Our tours will include:
- An overview of the solid waste operation in RethinkWaste’s service area
- A visit to the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to see how our recyclable materials are sorted
- A visit to the Transfer Station to see and learn about the transfer of compost, garbage, and construction and demolition (C &D) material
- A description of what items go into each of the three bins
- Information about the Public Recycling Center
