Events

This year, RethinkWaste is hosting its third annual Rethink Recycling Day (RRD) virtually with two full days of free workshops, tours, and networking. If you want to see where your waste goes, heal your sick houseplant, keep your food fresher for longer, or fix a broken appliance, join us on Saturday, November 7th and Saturday, November 14th for these no-cost offerings.

RRD was born out of the original America Recycles Day which is celebrated the second week of November, and is a day dedicated to promoting recycling in the United States. Recycling is a part of the solution to reduce waste in our environment, but it is not THE solution. We, at RethinkWaste, decided to create our own spin on the celebrated day to highlight waste reduction holistically, rather than focusing wholly on recycling.

Come and celebrate, learn, chat, and exchange ideas with us at our upcoming Rethink Recycling Days! Check out the full schedule below, where you will find the registration links to create your own schedule on the days of the events! Registration is required. If you attend any of the events on either day, you will be entered into a raffle to win an eco-friendly prize. For any questions, email info@rethinkwaste.org.
