Business and Organization Tours of the Shoreway Environmental Center in San Carlos provide an inside look at how recyclables are sorted in our upgraded Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and how compost and garbage are consolidated at the Transfer Station. RethinkWaste staff will also review bin sorting, discuss reuse and reduction tips, and answer all your tricky questions about where items belong (or don’t belong!) when you no longer need them.
