RethinkWaste offers both in-person and virtual tours for the general public, school groups, and businesses/organizations. Tours of the Shoreway Environmental Center provide an inside look at how recyclables are sorted in our upgraded Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and how compost and garbage are consolidated at the Transfer Station. RethinkWaste staff will also review bin sorting, discuss reuse and reduction tips, and answer all your tricky questions about where items belong (or don’t belong!)
